Downward Facing Dog:
-Hands 5-6 inches apart, fingers spread wide with most of the weight in your thumb and pointer fingers.
-Feet are hip width apart, check this by spinning the right heel in to kiss the left heel arch (should just touch), and the heels are slightly tweaked out.
-Act as if you could lay your chest on your thighs, and push away from the ground. Engage your bandhas.
-Shoulders away from the ears. Tailbone is the highest point, relax your face, slight bend in the knees to begin. Work towards getting heels flat onto ground.
