Quinoa for Breakfast!

We all know how awesome quinoa is for lunch or dinner, but what about breakfast? As I try to heal my body from injury, I want to eat good food. That includes making dinner almost every night and starting the day off right! If you love oatmeal, then you'll probably love this! Here is a super quick quinoa for breakfast dish:

1) Either cook the quinoa that morning, or to save time, use left over quinoa from the fridge (you can cook a bunch of quinoa, and it stays good for days!). Either if you're cooking or heating up in the microwave, simply add in about 1/4 cup of unsweetened Almond Milk and heat through. 

2) Add in a sprinkle of organic maple syrup for sweetness and any fruits or nuts you wish* i.e. berries, cranberries, raisins, apples, pumpkin, walnuts, pecans, unsalted almonds, etc. 

*If I'm using the microwave to reheat the quinoa, I heat the quinoa and almond milk mixture first, then I add in my extras and pop it in the microwave again for around 15 seconds to get everything softened.
