It's that time of year again. The kids kicked off the over-indulgent holiday season with Halloween, and Thanksgiving has come and gone. During the holidays, many of us enjoy amazing holiday spreads, complete with pumpkin pie, apple pie, pecan pie, cranberry sauce, you get the point. And while this cornucopia of food is such a blessing, we tend to overindulge. Tis the season!
But this holiday season, I have a tasty, healthy treat for you to bring to the table: Greek Yogurt Pumpkin Dip! Here's what you'll need:
-1 (15oz.) can of Organic Pumpkin*
-2 (5.3oz.) Vanilla Greek Yogurt**
-1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
-1/2 tsp Cinnamon
--Simply mix all of the ingredients together and chill! Add a little extra honey or pumpkin pie spice for desired sweetness. Use organic ingredients when possible. Serve with apple slices, or for those who demand sweets, baked cinnamon chips :)

**Stoneyfield has a great organic vanilla greek yogurt. I suggest using greek yogurt for the added protein benefits, and I recommend using vanilla flavored greek yogurt because the plain taste can be a bit too tart for this sweet treat replacement. You are more than welcome to try a dairy free option, such as organic soy or almond yogurt. If you do, please let me know how it goes!
